Exceptional mahogany slant-lid desk, circa 1770, with pine secondary wood, having a fine blocked three-shell interior of unusual height. Outstanding old color on very dense heavy mahogany. Excellent bracket feet. Condition: Minor repairs, brasses not original. Height: 42 ¾"; Width: 39"; Depth: 19 ¾"
