Outstanding New York Federal mirror in unusually good condition with original glass gilt floral drapes and inlaid pateras, New York City or Albany, c. 1800. Ht. 57". Condition: Excellent. One leaf restored on side, minor repair to veneered ears, small losses to eglomise and original gilt urn finial with attachments. Note: A similar mirror at the Winterthur Museum is pictured in Montgomery, American Furniture, p. 262 #214.
