Unusual demilune card table, probably Rhode Island, circa 1800. The top of each leg has satinwood ovals surrounded by double-line inlay. Each leg also has long satinwood panels with double line inlay terminating in a single-line design of a fish. The exterior of the frame has unusually fine crotch mahogany veneer. The fixed top and the lift top both have nice mahogany. The secondary woods are pine and maple. Dimensions are: Ht. 28 3/4"; W. 36"; D. 17 1/2".
