Oversized Luster Pitcher
Dated metallic luster pitcher, probably made for a sellers or potters window display, dated 1828, with transfer decoration of St. Peter's Cathedral and Hadrian's tomb. Ht. 12"; W. 15" (spout to handle). Condition: Restoration to spout; crack to base. Note: Oversized Staffordshire display pitchers are quite rare but turn up. I’ve never seen a luster one before.
